The law No one under the
age of 18 is allowed to purchase alcohol from an off-licence or pub.
You can go into a pub at the age of 16 accompanied by an adult but you can’t drink alcohol.
Our health
Getting drunk isn’t much fun... you may feel sick, be sick and have a really bad hangover the next morning.
Using alcohol combined with drugs is a lethal combination...
Don't do it! The government recommend that a full grown man shouldn’t drink more than 3-4 units of alcohol per day and a woman 2-3 units per day.
This is the maximum that anyone should have.
A more realistic guideline is that no one should have more than 2 drinks per night, but it’s best not to drink every day - your liver needs a break too!
